At Home With You

Hello Friends!

I chose this card to share with you today, as I am not at home!  Today is the day, and at 9 am (local time) we fly to Seoul, Korea for the first leg of our amazing vacation.  My friend, and fellow Demonstrator, Barb Tripps also qualified for the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation to Phuket, Thailand.  So we are travelling with her and her hubby for the entire 24 days!

We have 24 hours in Seoul, then fly to Hanoi, Vietnam.  From then until July 9th we will be going where ever the wind takes us.  On the 9th we have to be in Phuket for our Stampin' Up! leg of the vacation.

I will hopefully be able to post some pictures while we are gone, but if not, I will when we get back.  But meanwhile, I will only be doing blog posts twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Don't miss me too much! LOL

When they demonstrated the At Home With You Bundle at the OnStage event in April, you should have heard the gasp when they revealed how the die cut image moves after you put it on the card.  Stampin' Up! has definitely outdone themselves with the interactive dies this season.

First you cut out the door frame .....

Then you cut out the  door itself.  This part of the die cuts only 3 sides, and scores the fourth side so you can open and close the door!  How fun is this.  I used the lantern and flower pot to keep the door closed when it is shut.  I just made sure when I put them onto the card, that they overlap the edge of the door just a tiny, wee bit.  Voila!  It works.

For the lantern,  I used the die to cut it out in basic black, then I stamped the image on whisper white and hand cut it so it layers onto the black piece.  The flowers are coloured using the Stampin' Write Markers - Lemon Lime Twist, Sweet Sugarplum, and Daffodil Delight.  I coloured the basket with Smokey Slate ink and a Blender Pen.  The door is stamped onto some Wood Textures designer paper using Crumb Cake ink.  I cut out the windows using the die provided, and placed a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock behind the openings so it looks like the lights are on in the house.

I sponged the Brick Wall embossed cardstock with a tiny bit of smoky slate ink.

Thick Whisper White 8.5 x 5.5
Basic Black 5-1/4 x 4; 1 x 1-1/2
Real Red 5-1/8 x 3-7/8
Whisper White 1-1/2 x 1-1/2; 2 x 3-3/4; 1/2 x 2-1/2 (for sentiment, then cut to fit after stamping); 1 x 1-1/2
Daffodil Delight 1 x 1-1/4

You can find the supplies for this card listed below my signature.  Just click on any of the images to go to my Online Store.  Any order of $60 or more during June will get a special gift from me straight out of the new catalogue!  Or you can EMAIL ME and I will be pleased to help you with your Canadian order.  I may not respond immediately as I won't know what the internet is like over there, but I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Lovely Friends Bundle

Hello Lovely Friends!

Oh my Goodness, only 2 more days until we fly to Asia for our amazing Grand Vacation!  I am running around like a whirlwind trying to get things done and the final packing finished.

But it's time for another card share for you!  This one uses the Lovely Friends bundle which consists of the Lovely Friends stamp set and co-ordinating Lovely Laurel Dies.  I just love how the dies work - they are a pop up piece for the inside of the card.  But you can also use them by themselves and create interesting pieces for the front of your card.  I chose to use them inside the card for this one ...

I also used some of the new Glitter Acrylic Shapes and new In Color Bitty Bows on the front.  There is a list of supplies under my signature, and you can click on any of the images to go to my Online Store and check these products out for yourself.

Powder Pink 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; 1-1/4 x 3-1/2
Berry Burst 5-1/4 x 4; 5-1/2 x 3-1/2; 3 x 4-1/4
Whisper White 5-1/8 x 3-7/8; 1-1/4 x 3

I used the Wink Of Stella Clear Brush Pen on the small flowers and the Bitty Bow on the front of the card. I was pleasantly surprised how it worked on the bow!  Of course a little bling finishes off the card, don't you think?

If you would like a copy of the new Canadian 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, please EMAIL ME and I will be pleased to provide you with one, if you don't already have a demonstrator.

Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Matching Punch

Hello Friends!

On May 28 and then again on May 31 I had my New Catalogue Tea Party.  I was busy creating displays for it all during the last part of April and during May.  I decided to create all of these great cards using the Daisy Delight Bundle that consists of the Daisy Delight stamp set and matching Daisy Punch.  The designer paper is called Delightful Daisy and it is so beautiful.  All of the images work so well with the stamp set and punch to create some wonderful cards.

I made 6 cards using the products.  Each one has a piece of the designer paper that is 5.5 x 2, and then a strip which is 5.5 x .5.  The strip is the other side of the larger piece of patterned paper.  I thought it was a great way to showcase the designer paper, what do you think?

The Daisy Punch is so popular, that it is back ordered until June 26th, but you can still order the bundle and Stampin' Up! will ship the punch when it comes in.

During the month of June, with every $60 or more order, I will send you a special gift from the new catalogue just as a Thank You!  You never know, it may be a package of the new Faceted Gems, available in Gold or Clear (I used them in the centers of the daisies above).

CLICK HERE and you can go to my Online Store for more info, or click on any of the images in the supply list below my signature.  You can also EMAIL ME and I will be pleased to place your order for you.  If you haven't received a copy of the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, please let me know and I will be happy to get one to you.

Birthday Delivery Bundle Card Share

Hello Friends!

I am getting closer in my packing and setting up my blog posts for while we are away on our Grand Vacation to Thailand, Korea and Vietnam.  We will be away for 24 days and visiting some places that we only dreamed of going.  It is getting increasingly difficult to sleep at night and we still have just over 2 weeks to wait!

The Birthday Delivery Bundle is going to be so much fun to use.  The bundle consists of the Birthday Delivery stamp set, Birthday Friends dies, and Birthday Memories designer series paper.

Here's a card I made showcasing the bundle  ....

When we went to Calgary, Alberta in April for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event, we were given these products to do a make 'n take card with.  There was two of the fox images, and two of the banner images in my package, so I managed to make the card there out of one set, and saved the second set to make a card at home.  We also made the new Crate using the Wood Textures designer paper stack, and I salvaged a strip of that as well.  The ribbon you see on top of the wood designer paper is the new 1/4" Copper Trim.  It is so shiny and lovely to use.

A couple of years ago Stampin' Up! introduced us to this type of designer paper (the fox image one, not the wood texture one LOL).  Do you remember, it was at Christmas?  We asked them to make dies to cut out the images so we didn't have to fussy cut everything.  I love it when they listen to us, because the Birthday Memories paper has dies to match most of the images on it !!!!!

Here's a picture of the suite of products ...

Don't you just LOVE it all?  You can CLICK HERE to go to my Online Store to order any of these great products yourself.  With every $60 order this month, you will receive a special gift from the new catalogue.  You can also EMAIL ME and I will be pleased to help you with your Canadian order, if you don't already have a demonstrator.  I can also hook you up with a copy of the new Stampin' Up! 2017-18 Annual Catalogue of your very own.  Make sure you keep a napkin handy while you are reading it, you will need it to wipe the drool off!

Seasonal Smiles Card Share

Hello Friends!

I am getting so excited!!  I qualified for the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation to Phuket, Thailand last year, and it is coming up fast.  We extended our trip to Asia and we leave on June 23rd - only 18 more days!!!  We are going to Korea, Vietnam and then on to Thailand.  I am busy getting things caught up and lined up for posting while we are gone, and getting packed.

Today's card uses the Colorful Seasons Bundle once again.  There is just so much to love in this suite of products.

The bundle consists of the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Layers dies.  The Fresh Floral Designer Paper is so beautiful, you will want to get it and use it right away.  I have been making myself cut into the designer papers when I order them.  It's always that first cut that is the hardest, after that I can cut and cut and cut!

The colour palette for this card is the new Lemon Lime Twist.  At first it doesn't look like it will be very popular, but in person it is fabulous.  It is my favourite of all of the new In Colors.

Thick Whisper White 8.5 x 5.5
Lemon Lime Twist 5-1/2 x 1/2; 2-1/8 x 2-5/8 (x 2 pieces)
Fresh Florals DSP 5-1/2 x 2
Whisper White 2 x 2-1/2

All of the supplies can be found below my signature.  CLICK HERE to go to my Online Store and look at all of the new Annual Catalogue products.  But Beware!  You are going to want to order a LOT of them. LOL  Or you can EMAIL ME and  I will be happy to place your order for you.

Every order of $60 or more will receive a special gift from me from the new Annual Catalogue!!!  Of you would like a copy of the new Canadian Stampin' Up! 2017-18 Annual Catalogue please EMAIL ME and I will be happy to get one out to you, if you don't already have a Demonstrator of course.
