Magic Christmas Stampin' Up! Card #4

Hello Friends!

I just couldn't resist posting this one last Magic Christmas card I made using the Santa Train image.....

I used the Red Glimmer Paper to sparkle up this card.  The new Real Red Stitched Edged Ribbon is wonderful on this card.  I chose to tie it with some of the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.  This image is all coloured and I used the Wink of Stella Gold Brush Pen to bling up the yellow areas, and the clear one for the smoke and steam.

A little hint for you, punch out the Decorative Label piece from the center of the red glimmer paper that is behind the white stamped piece, before you put it onto the card.  You can't tell it has a hole in it once you put the rest of the card together.  And you save paper too!!!

Magic Christmas Stampin' Up! Card #3

Hello Friends!

Here is the final card included in my Magic Christmas Stamp-A-Stack Class I held this past Wednesday.

I just love how you can colour as little or as much on this Santa Train image as you want.  I elected to colour just a tiny bit of the image to make it pop.  Also, I used the Wink of Stella Gold Brush Pen on the ornaments and headlight for the train.

You can still request this Class In The Mail.  Just EMAIL ME and we can work out the details.
Or CLICK HERE and go to my Canadian online store to purchase these supplies yourself.

Here's an up close picture of the bling!

You can still request this class by mail.  Just EMAIL ME and we can work out the details.
Or CLICK HERE to go to my online store and purchase all these wonderful supplies yourself.

This set has a Santa Train image in it, and I just couldn't resist buying it as soon as I saw it.

Here's the Santa Train card we will be making .....

I stamped the image in VersaMark ink then used the new Red Glitter Embossing Powder on it.  It is amazingly sparkley ....

I used the new Green Glitter Embossing Powder on the sentiment.  A bit of Red Foil Thread completes this card.

I am soooooo excited to let you know that I qualified for a super vacation with Stampin' Up! in Thailand!!!!

July 2017 will see myself and my husband flying to Thailand for a week to party with Stampin' Up!  It was a long haul last year getting this far, and I could not have done it without my fabulous friends, customers and Downline Team members.

Here's the link to the Angsana Laguna Phuket Resort (click on the picture below) where we will be.  The entire resort has been reserved for only Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and their guests.  How amazing is that????

Presents and Pinecones and Pretty Pines Dies Christmas Card Share

Hello Friends!

Yesterday was our Monthly Stampin' Club "party".  We have so much fun each month getting together and stampin' a couple of cards.

This month we did a shaker card and a Christmas card. I shared the fishy shaker card (click on picture below to go to my original post) that was created by my friend and fellow demo Barb Tripps.  Everyone loved it!

Then we made a Christmas card using the Presents and Pinecones designer paper and Pretty Pines dies.

I was inspired by a picture in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue to make this one.  Lots of cut out pieces using the Pretty Pines dies and some amazing Copper Foil paper.

Supplies are listed below for this card.

Night of Navy and white class Flourishing Phrases Bundle

Hello Friends

Yesterday was my October Stamp-a-Stack class.  Stampers came and created 3 amazing cards using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and co-ordinating Flourish dies.

I cased these cards from my friend, fellow Demonstrator, and travelling companion Barb Tripps.

The colour combination of Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstocks are classy and elegant.  My stampers loved them.

I hope you have a Crafty Day!  Glenda Mollet

Halloween Scene Dies and School Treats

Hello Friends!

Whew, what a week!  I cut over 1300 pieces of cardstock getting ready for upcoming classes.  I sure gave my paper cutters a work out.

I also prepped to make 75 of these cute Halloween Treats for our Grandsons to take to school for their classmates and teachers.

Last night the Grandsons and I started doing them.  I bought some eyeball chocolates and some mini rollos and we put them in a tiny zip bag.  Then we will be adding the tag as you see it.  They will write their names on the back of them.

These Grandsons LOVE Halloween, and the middle one has his birthday a couple of days before Halloween.  This year he wants an Eyeball / Lego party!

The new Halloween Scenes Edgelits dies are just perfect for whipping up the components of the tags.  Its a lot of cutting with the Big Shot, but I figure if we do a few each time they are here we will get them done.  You can also bundle it with the Spooky Fun stamp set and save 10%!

Would love to see what you are doing for Halloween!  Leave a comment below ....

World Card Making Day - Sat. Oct 1, 2016

Hello Friends

Everyone loves to get mail the old fashioned way - by "snail mail".  We all have mail boxes in one form or another, but they sure don't get used like they used to.

Mail these days is usually bills or junk mail.  It saddens me to think of people who have given up on sending cards to friends, loved ones, and random acts of kindness (RAK), and turned to social media.

Anyone can wish you a Happy Birthday online, but only a special person will take the time to make a card, address it, attach a postage stamp, and slip it into a mail box just for you.

This Saturday, October 1st, is World Card Making Day.  I challenge each of you to put a card into the mail and reach out to someone you have not seen for a while, or someone who needs a pick me up, or maybe someone who has a birthday this (or next) week.  I usually mail out 10-15 cards each week.  Some are Thank Yous, some are Birthdays, some are Thinking Of You, and some are just for the fun of it.  Try it, and get back into the habit of sending cards in the mail again.

Today I have a video for you by Stampin' Up! on World Card Making Day ....

Here's a card I made for my hubby, Ted, for our 40th Wedding Anniversary ...

Leave a message below, or EMAIL ME, and let me know how many cards you mailed between now (Tues Sept 27) and Saturday!

Halloween Treat Box

Hello Friends!

Each year I have fun with our local Grandsons making Halloween projects for their school and class mates.

This year we are making clear boxes, decorating and filling them with non sugary treats.  This box has mini Doritos in it, but we will probably be using Bits 'n Bites again.

I am not the originator of this fabulous idea, I saw it online somewhere and did not right down the artist.  If you know who it is, please EMAIL ME so I can give proper credit.  It was used as inspiration to create my own version.  Have to make it not too difficult for the wee hands that will be helping me.  A complete supply list is below my signature.

CLICK HERE to go to my online store to see the products and / or place an online order. The Host Code this month is QKXPUZFC.  If you use it when placing an order, I will send you a surprise in the mail.
