Creating alternative cards with the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit - Sweet Springtime - and how you can get free alternate card ideas each month!

 Hi Friends!

Every month I go live in facebook and create with the Paper Pumpkin kit of the month.

The projects are never created as they are designed, I always change them up between a bit and a lot!  Sometimes the journey is long and painful (lol) but most of the time as we get started, and viewers chime in with their suggestions, the cards just fly together.

The February Paper Pumpkin Kit - called Sweet Springtime - was no exception, and I ended up with cards for our Northern Grandchildren when we were done.

Here's the alternative projects we created ...

I belong to a Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects group and each month my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers and Team Members get the PDF including at least 12 alternative projects.

I would love to send them to you too, if you live in Canada and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me, or grab a seat in my Craft Room Stampers Team!

Quick and easy birthday cards for the Men in your life, or anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

 Hi Friends!

I grabbed the Delicate Forest dies from the Jan-Apr Mini Catalogue as soon as the catalogue came out.

Just the dies, not the stamp set, because I had so many ideas rolling around in my head on how to use them.

Last Monday I shared how to create this quick and easy card during my facebook live ...

The original card uses the Meandering Meadow 6x6 designer paper. I went on and used some different papers to change up the look a bit, and made 3 more cards!

This card can be quick and easy with the addition of Adhesive Sheets on the back of the designer paper.

Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards. You can click on the video link below to see all of the papers I used.

How to create a beautiful birthday card using the Lovely & Sweet stamp set and dies with a bit of quick and easy colouring.

 Hi Friends

On Monday I shared how to create this beautiful card using the Lovely & Sweet stamp set and coordinating dies during my facebook live....

I shared some tips and tricks for colouring with Stampin' Blends. They don't need to be intimidating, and you don't need to do a lot of blending if you don't want to.

On this card I showed how to quickly and easily colour the images that won't take you hours to do.

And, now that Wink of Stella is back in stock, add it to all the leaves and flowers for a sparkle on your card.

Sharing different ways to create the "Magic" technique. Yes it's inky, but you will love the results.

Hi Friends!

Last Thursday I started out in the facebook live sharing a couple of ways to do the Magic Technique, then we ended up creating a stunning card using the Fern embossing folder.

Here's a picture of the technique where I used the Layering Florals embossing folder, Stampin' Blends and Memento ink ....

Then during the video I shared different ways to colour the images, and different inks to use for the background.

Then I grabbed the Fern Embossing Folder and we created this stunning backgound, which  we then turned into a card...

How to create a beautiful card using the Stippled Roses bundle and some gorgeous designer paper.

Hi Friends!

I was so excited when I found out that the Stippled Roses stamp set and coordinating dies are carrying over to the new 2024 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue!

Unfortunately they will no longer be bundled, which means you won't save 10% on ordering the items individually.

But, it's still current! Yippee....

I shared how to create this beautiful card during my Monday facebook live stamping demonstration.

I coloured the roses with Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends.
The leaves are coloured with the Old Olive and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. I just love mixing and matching my Blends and these images are perfect for that.

The card was finished off with some Adhesive-Backed Cork Dots, which are retiring and I am sad :(  They are so much fun to use, and did you know you can add bling to them with the Wink of Stella glimmer pen???? Yes you can!

Creating a quick and easy card using the Forever Love designer papers that is as beautiful as it is easy.

 Hi Friends!

I created this card for my last Team Fun Stamping Luncheon.

It's a great layout and uses beautiful papers. The creating process is quick and easy and you can use any papers, stamps, and dies you like.

I used the Forever Love specialty paper and added a die cut from the Gorgeously Made dies.

The background art piece is stamped in Petal Pink using elements from the Notes of Nature stamp set.

The greeting, in Pretty Peacock, is from Go To Greetings.

Add a few Iridescent Foil Gems and you have a beautiful card ready to share.

How to do the Faux Wood Background Technique and then use it on a couple of cards using the Irresistible Blooms and Magnolia Mood bundles!

Hi Friends!

I love creating spontaneous cards, and last Thursday during my facebook live, I was able to do that using the Magnolia Mood bundle.

The method I'm demonstrating is called Faux Wood Background, and it creates exceptionally lifelike wooden elements suitable for various uses.

I created the original card using the technique in the three strips behind the flower and leaf images.

I shared step by step how to create the technique, and you can find that video below.

I then crafted an impromptu card using the Magnolia Mood bundle, which is exquisitely beautiful and now available in the Online Exclusives section of my online store. Check out the video to view the alternative card I designed.
